Technical Project Manager

Resonant Link
Burlington, United Statesfull_timeVerifiedPosted 12 Jul 2023

About the role

Resonant Link is transforming the charging experience across industries and leading the movement to electrify work, logistics, transportation, and patient care. Our mission is to provide fast, safe, and reliable wireless power to help people, businesses, and the planet thrive, and more specifically, to:

  1. Power fleets while they work: enable material handling equipment like forklifts and robots to achieve 24/7 uptime by integrating wireless chargers into fleet operations, saving time, saving money, and protecting the planet through smaller batteries, smaller fleets, and more efficient power distribution and energy storage.
  2. Eliminate drivelines and risky battery replacement surgeries, forever: eliminate unnecessary surgeries, enable new therapies, and elevate existing treatments with the world’s smallest, fastest, easiest to align, FDA-compliant wireless chargers for implantable medical devices like neurostimulators, pumps, and pacemakers.

As our Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with engineering and product owners to drive project planning and execution of complex, wireless power projects. You will ensure projects are well-planned, executed efficiently, and delivered with high quality, enabling us to deliver world-class wireless charging for our partners.

We’re committed to building a healthy, collaborative engineering culture - and to help us deliver on our mission, we’re looking for empathetic, problem solvers and team leaders, with a passion for solving technical challenges at the boundary between scientific innovation and productization. If you get energized by working at the intersection of people, process and technology, we’re excited for you to bring your technical expertise, creativity, and leadership to the team!

On an average day, you’ll…

  • Enable Resonant Link’s success by working with electromagnetics, power electronics, and embedded software engineering teams to drive execution of complex wireless power projects, with a primary focus on the medical segment.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-team, customer and supplier dependencies, communications, and tasks.
  • Up-level the engineering organization by finding and implementing new opportunities to increase efficiency, share information, and manage change as we continue to scale

Requirements

  • This role requires primarily in-person work at our Burlington headquarters (~3 days per week).
  • Understanding of technical project management in an engineering environment — methodologies, design and development phases for building technology, etc.
  • Strong commitment to follow-through - sharing RL’s value of “Deliver on every promise”
  • Extremely organized - strong attention to detail and ability to create order within ambiguity
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Gantt Charts, etc.)
  • Must have up-to-date vaccinations for COVID-19

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’re a collaborative, respectful, and honest team member - you know together is always better!
  • You operate with empathy, integrity, and a growth mindset, viewing mistakes and challenges as learning opportunities and building upon your successes. You challenge yourself to continuously grow and improve.
  • You’re able to think several steps ahead to mitigate downstream risks, and are not afraid of asking questions to proactively identify issues or broaden your understanding.
  • You're a creative problem solver, taking initiative to own and solve problems with a mindset of continuous improvement - ensuring bigger picture issues are addressed, not just the problem at hand.
  • You’re adept at working in a distributed, dynamic environment, and feel comfortable navigating change and ambiguity.
  • You are meticulous about hitting project targets and love finding ways to get the job done!
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strength in technical documentation and language.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and generous stock options
  • Paid holidays (including a week off at new year) and an unlimited vacation policy
  • Fully covered medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees
  • 401(k) retirement benefit
  • Generous paid parental and family leave
  • Learning/career development investment in your professional and personal growth
  • Company outings & team retreats

Even if you don't meet every requirement, if you see yourself contributing to our team, we encourage you to apply!
