JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to Manager, Global Forwarding Systems & Process Improvement this position is responsible for client and vendor data maintenance in global forwarding systems, configuring and maintaining Global Forwarding systems, and optimizing the customer experience as it relates to the Global Forwarding system(s) and its client-facing portal(s). The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and onboarding clients, has at minimum a general knowledge in freight forwarding, and can effectively navigate and work with internal teams and clients. 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client and vendor data maintenance in freight systems (Cargowise preferred)
  • Continuously improve processes and service levels - identify, configure, implement, and evaluate improvements.
  • Project team member on various projects for GF, mainly cross functional initiatives.
  • Assist Manager, Global Forwarding Systems & Process Improvement in strategic planning, developing, and managing strategic goals and objectives, and evaluation processes.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for facilitating and recording results of end-to-end user acceptance testing, finance testing, task-specific testing, regression testing and load testing of GF systems. Provides system training to SME’s, Super Users, and End Users of GF systems. Provides Hypercare support during post go-live on GF systems.
  • Maintains client-facing portal and provides client demonstrations and support for usage of portal(s).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.

  • Excellent knowledge of Global Freight operational processes (air, ocean, and ground.)
  • Proficiency in analyzing logistics systems data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, team members, other departments, and all levels of management.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Good problem solving, judgement, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Customer focused. Knowledge of industry requirements, procedures and regulations.
