Role Overview: Roquette is seeking a dynamic Head of Regulatory Affairs Americas for food, feed, and industry products. Reporting to the Head of Global Regulatory, this exciting position promises a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to lead and shape the regulatory landscape within the company. This hybrid role will be based out of Geneva, IL.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise leadership on the alignment of key business and innovation strategies with regulations, proposing action plans to support regulatory strategy, mitigate risks, and leverage business opportunities.
  • Lead and support the preparation, submission, and approval process of registration applications for product authorization, claims, GRAS dossiers, etc.
  • Ensure Regulatory compliance of all existing products and innovation projects in collaboration with the team.
  • Represent Roquette externally in industry associations and with relevant authorities, actively contributing to legislative decisions and staying informed about regulatory changes.
  • Proactively develop an internal network within Roquette Americas and corporate offices.
  • Manage Regulatory Affairs experts in the US, Mexico, and Brazil.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the food sector; experience with a food regulatory agency is a plus.
  • Knowledge of business fundamentals/strategies and innovation and their intersection with regulations.
  • People management experience & demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the US regulatory environment.
  • Strong project management skills with high attention to detail.
  • A team player with a global regulatory mindset.
