About the Role

Are you looking to use your expert leadership and IT skills in an industry that supports and protects explorers and heroes? We could use your expertise on our team! As a Cybersecurity Manager II, you will report to the Director of Cybersecurity. You will design, test, and implement secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning, and management of IT security systems and applications, incident response, and digital forensics. You will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments at the network, system, and application level. You will Conduct insider and outsider threat detection and mitigation modeling exercises. You'll develop and implement security controls and formulate operational risk mitigations along with assisting in security awareness programs. You will prepare security reports for regulatory agencies. You will also audit and manage the system and network access and maintain an active directory of authorized users.

Learn more about Sierra Space's Corporate team Must Haves: • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Information Technology or related Engineering field of study and typically 4 - 6 years of experience • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education• Knowledge of technical standards relating to systems security; experience administering UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems, experience with large-scale server systems, thin client architecture, system virtualization and other related peripherals• Experience with A&A requirements as outlined in the NISPOM, RMF for DOD, ICD 503, JSIG & NIST RMF Preferred: • Experience with softwares such as Splunk or ELK (other SIEM), ACAS / Nessus, HBSS, eMASS or X
