Job Summary 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and systems  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Work safely and comply with all safety processes 
  • Comply with quality system work instruction 
  • Monitor, diagnose, maintain, repair, and upgrade mechanical equipment and systems as directed 
  • Completion of PM’s per schedule 
  • Completing PdM routes 
  • Timely responding to breakdowns  
  • Fabrication, as needed 
  • Equipment installation  

Qualifications and/or Experience 

  • High school diploma or GED ; prefer Associates in related field 
  • Previous mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environnent 
  • Able to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics as well as engineering drawings. 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. 
  • Must be comfortable working in a semi-clean room atmosphere, including gowning or lab coats, hair nets, gloves and safety glasses 
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand work instructions and documentation 
  • Must be able to use computer based work tools 
  • Prior experience working with/repairing power transmission, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, seals, pumps & fans and basic rigging 
  • Millwrighting or machining skills are a plus 
  • Knowledge of PLC’s, VFD’s, servo controllers, temperature control, and HMI
