Summary
Provides law enforcement and protection to the citizens of Tarrant County by performing duties that include but are not limited to search and seizures, investigations, and other jail functions requiring powers of arrest necessary to safely house fugitives in accordance with statute, policy and procedure.Examples of duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have a Texas Basic Peace Officer Certification and two (2) years of related law enforcement experience.
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and/or obtain a license within 30 days.
- Must be willing to work nights, evenings, overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
