We are searching for a Director of Marketing-Innovation to join our team located at our corporate headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
The Director of Marketing-Innovation is responsible for setting the overall strategy for innovation in the Reynolds Cooking & Baking Business Unit. This includes segments such as foil, bakeware, parchment, air fryer & slow cooker liners, etc., leading new products through stages in the development process from concept to launch, working closely with direct reports and cross functional teams to deliver key project milestones.
This position will report directly into the Business Unit Vice President, Marketing.

- Responsible for setting innovation strategy, identifying the future product pipeline, and developing the roadmap to support profitable growth.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive new product development pipeline and go-to-market strategies for cooking & baking solutions, which includes leading sustainability strategy and navigating evolving regulatory landscape
- Leads process to assess and track ongoing pipeline health for the BU.
- Responsible for the growth, development and management of direct reports.
- Oversees vendor management, including contracts, negotiations, RFP’s, invoicing, and partnerships.
- Creates the market research budgets, plans and expenditures in conjunction with Marketing and Consumer Insights functions.
- Prepares and effectively communicates insightful strategies, presentations and business analysis to the executive team.
- Develops Demand Landscape and insights across portfolio and socialize across the organization to maximize use of insights and tools.
- Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
- Leverages external organizations to bring new methodologies and processes to the BU (e.g. concept writing training).
- Leads licensing initiatives (inbound / outbound) to contribute to profitable growth goals.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize market share and profitability at launch for new products.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications
We need you to have:
- BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field.
- 10+ years of related professional and progressive Marketing experience in the CPG industry.
- Experience with consumer insights, market research and new product development.
- Strong background in sustainable product development and marketing
- Experience with P&L management and budget oversight
- Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring
- Deep understanding of retail and foodservice distribution channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
- Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.
- Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
- Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
- Proficient in MS Office.

- Knowledge of sustainability certifications and eco-friendly product development
