The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Clinical Technology Coordinator, Academic Affairs Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine [R0149096]

ROLE of the POSITION

The Technology Coordinator for the Anatomical Education and Simulation Space plays a pivotal role in managing and supporting the technological infrastructure necessary for educational simulations and learning activities. This position involves overseeing the integration, implementation, and maintenance of various software platforms and simulation tools that are integral to the training environment. The Technology Coordinator ensures that all simulation systems are functioning optimally, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving user problems to minimize downtime and disruptions.

In addition to system maintenance and problem-solving, the Technology Coordinator will be responsible for collecting and reporting data related to the performance and outcomes of the educational simulations. This data is essential for continuous improvement and for ensuring that the simulation tools meet the evolving needs of the academic and clinical training environment.

The coordinator will also play a key role in supporting faculty, students, and staff who are engaged in the Anatomical Education and Simulation Space. This includes providing technical assistance during training sessions, coordinating and troubleshooting system requirements during hands-on educational activities, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all simulation tools. Additionally, the Technology Coordinator will assist in training faculty and staff on the use of simulation technologies, offering guidance on best practices for integrating technology into educational workflows.
