Generator Sales Consultant

Overview

Pioneer Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking motivated and knowledgeable Generator Sales Consultants to join our GROWING TEAM! The Generator Sales Consultant is primarily responsible for selling and coordinating profitable generator installations. This includes guiding the customer from initial consultation through installation, payment, and follow-up.

What You Will Do:

• Educate customers on generator systems, sizing, and installation options

• Provide in-home consultations and assess electrical needs to recommend appropriate generator solutions

• Assist customers in achieving peace of mind through reliable backup power solutions

• Secure customer authorization for all proposed jobs and prepare professional proposals using company pricing tools

• Follow up with customers and ensure satisfaction post-installation

• Review job details with the installation and electrical teams to ensure smooth execution

• Coordinate job scheduling, permitting, financing, and documentation with internal support teams

• Communicate with Installers throughout the project to maintain quality and customer expectations

• Prospect for new customers through neighborhood outreach, referrals, and outbound calling

• Participate in ongoing sales training and product knowledge sessions to stay current on industry trends

What You Need:

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License

• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening

• Minimum 2 years of Sales Experience (in-home or consultative preferred)

• Generator or Electrical experience a plus

• Physically able to walk job sites and inspect installation locations

• Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends
