Description

Spend the summer working with The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc.’s (MSG) multi-faceted marketing, communications and business development team. You will gain exposure to many types of projects, and be guided by the in-house marketing team, with exposure to our dynamic staff of subject matter experts. Within the organization, you will work with multiple market sector leaders to highlight our clients, people and projects in both internal and external communications. The specific tools and media will be determined by the market leader, the suitability of the topics and your strengths.

The right candidate will be a self-starter ready to go out and capture the stories of our team members. 

Key Responsibilities

·         Develop engaging marketing campaigns·         Develop content for our marketing social media platforms·         Create and edit written, video and photo content·         Attend events and produce social media content (and live content if applicable) ·         Maintain a unified brand across all of our platforms·         Maintain social media calendar in Loomly

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

·         Entry Level Position: Coop/Intern with studies in Digital Advertising/Social Media Marketing, Communications, Media Production, Graphic Design, etc.·         Advanced Computer Software Application Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign)·         Advanced Writing Skills·         Excellent Organizational Skills·         Self-Starter, Driven, Motivated·         Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills - Team Oriented, People Person
