Country Club Membership Services Internship | Useless Bay Golf and Country Club
Program Length: 12 Weeks
Join our dynamic hospitality team for an immersive 12-week Country Club Membership Services Internship, where you’ll gain hands-on experience across Membership Services, Recreation and Administration. This program is designed to provide you with an understanding of Membership Services administration, guest service excellence, and project management. You’ll learn from seasoned professionals, rotate through critical roles, and take on a meaningful project that gives insight into what it takes to run this important facet of a Golf Country Club at a high level.
This internship is ideal for aspiring hospitality leaders looking to build operational expertise, administrative skills, and practical leadership experience while making a tangible impact on guest satisfaction.

What Success Looks Like:
Your Impact
• Gain hands-on experience in Golf and Country Club operations, focusing on Membership administration, and member service capacities.
• Exposure to other departments, including Golf Operations and Food & Beverage/Event Planning
• Participate in cross-departmental coordination to ensure seamless member experiences.
• Learn administrative skills including scheduling, event planning, and inventory tracking.
• Develop leadership and coaching skills through supervised mini-leadership challenges and mentorship from a member of our leadership team.
• Work on a capstone project aimed improving our hard and soft goods inventory management practices and POS system utilization.
• Observe and practice Membership management practices, anticipating member needs, and exceeding member expectations.
• Attend mentoring sessions with our General Manager and Director of Membership Services
• Other tasks as assigned.
What You Bring
• Currently a University Student or recent graduate, preferably from Hospitality Business Management (or similar) fields.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn, show-up, smile and work on a team.
• Engaged in a forward moving educational or vocational program.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• The ability to interpret written and oral instructions.
• Ability to obtain State Food Handler Card and MAST desired
• Strong computer skills: Full knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Outlook, Excel and Word.
