Summary
This position supports our Compensation strategy by analyzing, administering, and supporting compensation programs across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring equitable and competitive pay practices.
The Senior Compensation Analyst will work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and department leaders to provide compensation guidance, conduct benchmarking, and support internal and external compensation reporting.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze internal compensation data to ensure equity, consistency, and alignment with our compensation philosophy.
- Conduct job evaluations and participate in salary surveys to benchmark positions and assess market competitiveness.
- Support annual compensation processes including salary structure updates, merit cycles, and incentive programs.
- Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to provide compensation guidance for job offers and promotions.
- Maintain and audit compensation data within HRIS and ensure accurate reporting for internal use and compliance.
- Prepare compensation reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and communication of compensation policies and procedures.
- Support compensation-related compliance and reporting (e.g., pay equity, EEO, FLSA audits).
Required Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in compensation, data analysis, or a related HR role.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical capabilities; experience with compensation systems or survey tools preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Working understanding of compensation principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or coursework in compensation (e.g., CCP, SHRM-CP/PHR) is a plus.
- Experience with Workday, Payfactors, or similar compensation management tools.
