Field Operations Engineer

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Field Operations Engineer to join our Cyber team. 

The Field Operations Engineer serves as a primary contact for Two Six customers. They are focused on improving customer relationships by resolving a variety of issues. This position requires an understanding of the Cyber Mission Force organizational construct, tools/capabilities utilized in cyberspace operations and experience in system/network administration, incident response and forensic analysis. The Field Operations Engineer works on a variety of projects and technical issues both independently and with a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of equipment and systems
  requires an understanding of the Cyber Mission Force organizational construct, tools/capabilities utilized in cyberspace operations and experience in system/network administration, incident response and forensic analysis
• Serve as company liaison to the customer for multiple topics
• Participate in the establishment, measurement, and achievement of customer satisfaction metrics
• Perform project management function for customer projects including needs identification, scheduling, tracking, and reporting
• Provide leadership for project engineering teams and project support personnel
• Develop and write documentation as required
• Brief company projects to a variety of customers (government and non-government agencies)
• Communicate with Two Six and customer management regarding project details
  Train customers operators on equipment and systems
• Support an environment conducive to successful team interaction and customer satisfaction
  Strong results-oriented work ethic and customer service orientation
• Ad Hoc-Other assignments may assign as needed

Minimum Qualifications /Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Ability for travel greater than 30%
• 5+ years’ experience in network architectures
• 5+ years’ experience installing, configuring, and deploying infrastructure systems required to support an operational environment
• Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI Eligibility and the ability to obtain and maintain required CI poly

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DevOps and/or Agile is a huge plus; Atlassian collaboration tools
• Flexible and agile team spirit that adapts well to changing priorities
• 5+ years’ experience installing, configuring, and deploying infrastructure systems required to support an operational environment in the Cyber Mission Force or equivalent field
• Excellent relationship building skills while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Possess strong project management skills, with attention to detail
• Self-starter, willing to take the initiative

Clearance qualifications:

• US Citizen with active TS Clearance w/ SCI Eligibility and ability to obtain required clearance to CI poly
