Chute Crew Lead

Seeking a Chute Crew Lead for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Forestville, MD.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!  

Pay is between $28 - $32 per hour (based on experience)

The Chute Crew Lead will lead and assist with the install of trash, recycle, linen chutes, and waste compactors.

Responsibilities:

• Work Closely with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager and assist on-site by talking to superintendents and coordinating with surrounding work subs
• Communicating daily job updates to the APM and PM

• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
• Review drawings and plans before going to job sites
• Load up Chute material in the morning in order to deliver to job site
• Call Superintendents upon arrival to job site and coordinate hoist or lift use for distribution of materials.
• Distribute materials to the respected floors and look at the install location.
• Prepare frames and take measurements before starting the install
• Work with team to install materials delivered to site in a timely manner.
• Report and escalate to management as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in the field of general construction
• A firm understanding of general construction and contract documents
• Team Player
• Organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
• OSHA 10 required
• OSHA 30 preferred but not required
