Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned leader with extensive experience in process design kit engineering to run our world-wide PDK engineering organization supporting all design teams within Renesas. This position entails close collaboration with design, technology and operations team members to ensure the integration of tools and kits into our IC design flows. Successful candidates will have 15+ years' experience with a demonstrated track record of collaboration with internal teams distributed across the globe as well as vendors and customers. 

Qualifications
•    Bachelor or above degree in Electrical Engineering 
•    15+ years of work experience in PDK/CAD
•    7+ years of technical management experience
•    5+ years of working with external EDA vendors
•    Demonstrated experience with IC design flows for logic, mixed signal, power and specialty processes
•    In depth understanding of CAD tools, data management and DevOps tools
•    Proven communicator with a track record of delivering technical solutions and satisfying customers
Responsibilities
•    Management of the Renesas global PDK team
•    Design, maintain and integrate PDKs for all technologies used within Renesas process tech roadmap into our design flow tool-set
•    Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues working closely with design, process technology teams and vendors
•    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and implement efficient solutions
•    Work closely with external foundries on new process technology enhancement and development
•    Work with internal technology teams to capture process technology parameters in PDKs
•    Concisely and effectively communicate strategic and tactical execution status to executive management and cross functional teams
•    Harmonize PDK workflows within Renesas and collaborate closely with the process technology organization of roadmap support for new foundries and internal process development
