Compass Health is currently looking for a Registered Nurse for our E&T Facility in Mukilteo. Compass Health’s Evaluation and Treatment facility provides a 16-bed inpatient program in Mukilteo to mentally ill adults under 72-hour involuntary detention and/or 14-day commitment in accordance with Washington State Involuntary Treatment Act, RCW 71.05.
Evaluation begins upon admission to obtain baseline information and to assess physical status, preform psychological evaluation and mental status examination and determine global functioning. The data is continually updated in an individualized treatment plan to provide the highest quality of care possible in a dynamic situation. Clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction are assessed and the data is used to improve treatment within our quality improvement program.
What you will be performing
As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, The RN Supervisor provides direct nursing services to clients and oversees provision of treatment by program staff to ensure high quality client care and also provides direction to program staff in the absence of management.
What you will be carrying along
• Current Washington State RN license.
• Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC preferred.
• Previous experience working in a psychiatric setting preferred.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification and Food Handlers permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
What you will be sharing
• Thorough knowledge of clinical issues of psychiatric and medical treatment of adults and older adults.
• Demonstrated knowledge regarding the management of challenging behaviors.
• Skilled in administering medications.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong computer proficiency, including keyboarding skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to utilize an electronic medical record for collaborative clinical documentation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check.
