Job Description

This role is on site, reporting into our Palo Alto office

The Oncology Promotional Marketing team is responsible for the marketing strategy and execution of the Guardant Health Oncology Portfolio (newly branded as Guardant Complete). We are a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and fun team responsible for the sales team and digital marketing strategy and materials for the products and services applicable to oncologists and their patients with confirmed diagnosis of cancer.

About the Role:

As a Product Manager/Senior Product Manager for Oncology Promotional Marketing team in Guardant Health, you will be responsible for driving the patient and care team strategy and tactical execution to support the portfolio of Guardant Health oncology products (now known as Guardant Complete). The role will require the individual to understand our current market and products, our pipeline, our target audiences (oncology HCPs, patients, and care team), and our marketing channels. In addition, the individual will need to partner with field sales, client services, regulatory, legal, medical, and managed care to both understand and push the limits of our messaging and execution. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collecting a technical and commercial understanding of our current and future portfolio to identify the best opportunities for efficient patient and care team marketing
  • Understand our current branding and promotional strategy and POA
  • Gather insights for the target audiences from market research and secondary data
  • Help set the strategy for patient and care team marketing
  • Synthesize learnings to develop strong, unique product and portfolio level messaging to patients and care team
  • Determine optimal channel strategy and execute on tactics for both personal and non-personal channels

Qualifications

  • Completed an advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS, PhD, etc.) and at least 3 years of work experience
  • Must have prior work experience demonstrating basic marketing competencies and knowledge of tactical channels and measurement
  • Must be highly collaborative and comfortable working with a hybrid team (some remote and some in-person)
  • Must be comfortable presenting in front of an executive audience (directors, senior directors, and VPs)
  • Must have a strategic & analytical mindset
  • Advanced skills using productivity platforms such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Productivity software
  • Must be locally based in the Bay Area and be present in Palo Alto office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
  • Must be comfortable with 10-20% travel, primarily domestic to US and potential for some International

Preferred:

  • Previous DTP or DTC campaign launch experience

Additional Information

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $84,560 to $131,200. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
