Our Finance department is the biggest department in Shell Business Operations in Kraków and offers many possibilities to expand your skills & knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Processing product movements in GSAP material module (purchases, sales, transfers) on timely manner
• Performing effective stock reconciliation on daily and monthly basis
• Ensuring correct closing stock for month-end reconciliation
• Working with respect to monthly deadlines,
• Managing and answering the Business queries in an organized and prompt manner
• Accruals preparation & reversal,
• Working to achieve weekly and monthly team goal/ KPI,
• Supporting increasing process automation and efficiency
• Resolving process issues with help of other teams, both within and outside Finance as well as with support from Process Experts
• Taking part in operational calls
• Maintaining business knowledge to ensure business requirements are appropriately assimilated into functional process designs
• Supporting and advocate efforts of continuous improvement
• Ensuring appropriate process documentation, roles and procedures
• Promoting and facilitate sharing and adoption of process management best practice, provide training as needed (sessions with Process Owner, Cross Process Area Management forums, Process Area Councils, other training sessions etc.),
• Managing and meeting multiply deadline 
• Performing complex invoice settlement process (invoice posting on vendor account and invoice billing to customer) on timely manner
• Performing contract procurement activities (contract creation and price adjustment)
• Reconciling balances on Balance Sheet and Profit and loss GL accounts between Intragroup entities on a quarterly basis,
• Giving input to the issue resolution in the team, taking over identified actions and different type of requests from stakeholders assigned by Team Manager/Specialist
• Proactively raising issues to Team Manager
• Using various team meetings to raise concerns and issues, providing supporting documentation/information to Team Manager/Specialist, Senior Team Manager and different stakeholders
• Being able to provide information and explain all the concerns on the process/control framework to internal and external auditors
• Being able to identify and contribute to process improvements and simplification and effective control framework
• Demonstrating support in Change Management process
• Giving input to the issue resolution in the team, taking over identified actions and different type of requests from stakeholders assigned by Team Manager/Specialist
• Proactively raising issues to Team Manager

Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in economic, accounting or finance area or equivalent accounting courses.
• At least 1 year of experience in relevant accounting environment.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP accounting system is desirable.
• Very good level of English (written and oral)
