Senior Performance Analyst

Zurich North America is hiring a Performance Analyst to join our team! We are open to hiring talent in the following location: Schaumburg, IL.

 

Join our dynamic Specialties Business Unit (BU) Finance team, where you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive and timely financial information to support and enhance strategic business decision-making. As a key point of contact for all financial matters within Specialties, you will ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all departments.

 

In this role, you will actively contribute to the annual budgeting and planning processes, as well as the regular forecasting activities. Your responsibilities will include detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing insightful recommendations to drive financial performance. By working closely with business leaders, you will help shape financial strategies and ensure the alignment of financial goals with overall business objectives.

 

The ideal candidate will be an individual that has Finance and P&L understanding. Other critical skills include being a good communicator (both written and verbal) and a critical thinker with an analytical mindset. The role requires participation on projects where needed.

 

This role will be filled at either the Performance Analyst or Senior Performance Analyst level.  The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

Performance Analyst:
 

• Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  OR
• Completion of Zurich Finance Development Program, including a Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area

 

OR

 

Senior Performance Analyst:

 

• Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Insurance industry experience
• Strong Microsoft Office experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The combined salary range for this position is $71,100.00 -$154,000.00. The proposed salary range for Performance Analyst is $71,100.00 -$116,500.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%. The proposed salary range for the Senior Performance Analyst is $94,100.00 -$154,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
