The Opportunity: 

An effective project requires a manager who is passionate about guiding it through the complexities of its lifecycle. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus. That’s why we need you, a seasoned project manager who can ensure our Security Services program achieves success.

As a lead project manager on our team, you’ll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding Security Services as a Chief of Staff. Security Services will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority in the Enterprise Organization, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission. You’ll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. This is your chance to impact the Delivery Hub and Enterprise Organization for improved efficiencies, scalability, and user experience while sharing your knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience working in a professional services organization

  • 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with enterprise teams, such as operations, finance, and procurement

  • Experience with creating polished reports and decks for presentation to senior leadership

  • Knowledge of project management and project development

  • Ability to brief all levels of staff, including senior leadership

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Experience with gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and presenting key findings, including potential impacts to business operations

  • Ability to be detail-orientated with a strategic and analytical outlook

  • Ability to build excellent interpersonal relationships

  • Ability to thrive as a self-starter, work as an individual contributor, and deliver outcomes based on high-level guidance and expectations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with agility and adaptability, lead positively through ambiguity and change, handle multiple, competing time and project demands, and deliver expected results on schedule

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD).
