Salary Range:

$135,000.00 - $175,000.00

What’s the role?

As a Software Engineer on the Offsite Listings and Fees squad within our Growth group, you'll build and maintain systems that support Etsy's Performance Marketing efforts. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to expand, optimize and monitor marketing efforts across a variety of external channels including search, social and affiliate networks. You will implement and launch experiments, perform data analysis, optimize feed data quality and monitor systems for reliability and efficiency. Additionally, you'll build and maintain third-party integrations, internal tools and reporting systems that empower your team to efficiently support billions of data deliveries per day.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy. 

For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. What does the day-to-day look like?

• Provide responsive support for our partners across Marketing, Product and other Engineering initiatives

• Provide on-call support, triaging and resolution for alerts and incidents

• Collaborate with engineering peers to deliver impactful work aligned to business goals

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, reporting, alerting and internal tooling

• Demonstrate comprehensive ownership of our team's various services and surfaces through opportunistic refactorings, enhancements and reductions of technical debt

• Participate in collaborative team exercises including agile sprint ceremonies, technical planning, brainstorming, etc.
