Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas Northern and Central Europe the best place to work.  
The Service Department at the Videbæk/Aarhus office is responsible for service, service sales and maintenance of wind turbines within Denmark. As a Customer Service Engineer you will be part of a team consisting of 8-10 colleagues who enjoys each other's company and support each other in their everyday work life.
 

Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Engineer you will be responsible for translating complex knowledge and insights from our specialist departments into a language that our customers understand and can act upon. This puts you in a focal role with both internal and external stakeholders. Therefore, you can expect to be responsible for the following:

  • Building effective relationships and clear lines of communication between Customer service management and Technical- & Engineering support departments. 
  • Support customer service management with technical questions
  • Calculate and create quotations
     

Qualifications
For this position, key word is will over qualifications and you are more than welcome to apply if you are just done with your studies. However, as you will interact with many different stakeholders and mitigate complex knowledge to the receiver, we do believe that the following is very beneficial:

  • You should have industrial electricity or electronic knowledge, or experience in an IT background. If you come from an engineering back-ground it is very nice, but not a prerequisite
  • If you have work experience or studied IT of sorts it is beneficial, as you will be working with heavy IT subjects
  • You should have a great knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel is necessary
  • Experience in a customer service environment, where emphasis is on a professional relationship with the customer in both action and communication
  • Experience in the Wind industry would be advantage, but not critical
     

Competencies
As you will be part of a team all aiming to be as great as possible, you will experience teamwork and individual work. Therefore, you should expect to be responsible for your own tasks, whilst engaging in teamwork. 

  • Ability to communicate with and manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • You should be team-oriented in the way that you share your problems, knowledge, and learnings to learn and teach 
  • You should be able to work independently, and problem solve
  • Have the capability to coordinate and prioritise tasks
  • You should be able to approach tasks in a structured and systematic way
  • You should be skilled within English and Danish, both verbal and written. This means that you should be able to communicate on a negational level in both
