Salesforce Developer

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• Contract type: Independent Contractor
  
• Schedule 40 hours/week; Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30 pm EST

We have partnered with our client and are actively seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Developer to join their technical team. This role is ideal for someone who has a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and enjoys designing and building custom solutions that solve real business problems.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a key role in translating business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead development initiatives, and contribute to the long-term success of our Salesforce environment.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable Salesforce solutions
  
• Design and develop custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components (Aura and LWC)
  
• Customize Salesforce orgs by creating and managing custom objects, validation rules, page layouts, flows, and automation
  
• Develop and manage integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and integration tools
  
• Implement and manage roles, profiles, sharing rules, and other security settings
  
• Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure reliability and performance
  
• Manage code deployments using change sets, Salesforce CLI, and CI/CD tools
  
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and monitor system performance
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders, administrators, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
  
• Document technical specifications and support training efforts when needed
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  
• Minimum of 4 years of Salesforce development experience
  
• Salesforce certifications including:
  
• Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator
  
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist
  
• Salesforce Platform Developer I
  
• Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC and Aura), Flows, and SOQL
  
• Familiarity with Salesforce data modeling, security best practices, and integration methods
  
• Experience with Git, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD pipelines
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
  

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
  
• Additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
  
• Six or more years of related Salesforce experience
  
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
