Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an Oracle Developer with experience developing and maintaining applications written using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, APEX and Oracle databases. The Peraton DFAS account is seeking expertise to provide Application Support Services in support of the maintenance and development of Deployable Disbursing System (DDS) project.
The Oracle Developer is responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities associated with creating software across multiple functional areas and products. Prioritize and allocates projects, products, and resources with the assistance of architects and managers.
- Participate in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products.
- Makes employment decisions, such as hiring, rewarding.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a multi-team or cross-functional organization.
- Direct software development projects to include, ensuring that projects are completed on time and according to quality standards, facilitating communication upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances and technical information.
- Organize projects through development of a project plan which includes communication of product goals as defined by top management, definition of project strategy, identification of the roles and responsibilities of key project groups, development of a schedule with key milestones, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of project resources.
- Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 6+ in lieu of degree requirement.
- Must have experience with Oracle.
- Must have experience with PL/SQL, Forms/Reports and APEX.
- Experience designing, coding and testing software requirements.Must be US Citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Public Trust designation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure and knowledge of the AGILE methodology.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
