Java Engineer (Genesys PSDK)

Job Description

We are seeking a Java Genesys Engineer to join our team, who will help us work on solutions and implement technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Implement software components according to the design specifications
• Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution
• Perform unit testing of software components
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with the Project Stakeholders to ensure that the Project efforts proceed efficiently and with predictability
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Java development
• 2-3 years of experience with the full Spring ecosystem, especially, Spring Framework Core, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• 2-3 years of experience with Genesys PSDK development
• Should have executed the complete SDLC on projects using Java 11 and higher
• Experience with various database technologies including MongoDB and MS SQL Server
• Experience developing in a microservices architecture
• Ability to write and execute unit tests using JUnit 5 and Mockito
• Familiarity with messaging technologies (i.e., RabbitMQ and Kafka)
• Experienced with GitHub and other CI/CD technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in a production environment
• Effective communications with all levels of internal and external customers and other team members

Nice to have:

• Experience with Hazelcast version 4 or higher
• Tomcat/Jetty configuration and tuning experience
• Experience with Performance Optimization and Memory Profiling
