Architecture & Platform Design:
Architect scalable and secure Master Data Models and metadata-driven pipelines to standardize reporting, governance, and metrics across the organization.
Develop optimized data persistence layers (e.g., Hive-based aggregation) to enhance performance, reduce complexity, and drive operational efficiency.
Insights & Executive Reporting:
Build and govern executive dashboards and SMART KPI frameworks using tools like Tableau to support $500M+ in potential savings through data-driven reviews and scenario planning.
Establish data visualization and analytics practices that deliver business impact, promote transparency, and support continuous improvement.
Compliance & Governance:
• Champion enterprise compliance by partnering with Legal, Privacy, and Security teams to embed privacy-by-design, data minimization, and access control within all solutions.
• Define and enforce governance standards through internal documentation (e.g., Wiki's, Guiding Principles, etc) and operating procedures.
Qualifications:
• 20+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or enterprise data strategy roles.
• 10+ years of people leadership experience, with proven success managing cross-functional global teams.
• Proven expertise in architecting enterprise-grade data platforms and delivering KPI-driven reporting solutions.
• Strong experience with data platforms (Hive, Spark, Snowflake), BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and metadata/catalog tools.
• Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and master data modeling.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level engagement and influence.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
Your role
Data Strategy & Execution:
• Define and lead enterprise data strategy across business operations domains (e.g., finance, vendor, supply chain, workforce).
• Define and execute the technical vision, roadmap, and Strategies across customer experience, business operations, and compliance lifecycle initiatives.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of centralized insights platforms by integrating 20+ data sources to reduce latency, streamline planning cycles, and enable real-time decision-making.
Team Leadership:
• Manage and scale a global team of engineers, analysts, and architects (50+ FTEs and contractors) across multiple time zones.
• Foster collaboration across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
Your skills and experience
Data platforms (Hive, Spark, Snowflake) (Preference: 5)
BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and metadata/catalog tools. (Preference: 5)
Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and master data modeling. (Preference: 3)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with or within CIO/CTO organizations in Fortune 100 companies.
Prior consulting or cross-industry transformation experience.
Experience aligning data strategy to financial and operational performance goals
