Job Description​

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a LPN to join our team at our Pulmonary Clinic at our south location.

The Shift:

This is Monday through Friday day shift position.

Position can work 5 8 hour days, 4 10 hour days or 4 9 hour days plus a half day per week. Days off will alternate each week, but scheduled well in advance.

The Work: 

• Responsible for telephone screening, patient flow, and coordination of patient care 
• Schedules emergent need patient appointments 
• Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provides advice and recommendations, and inserts intravenous access with medication administration. 
• Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice 
• Enters admission orders as directed by provider 
• Manages expired samples. 
• May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties or other office duties as needed 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, task oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Licensed Practical Nurse - Various
