Description

This is a PRN, rotating shift intern opportunity at Arnett Hospital in the retail pharmacy on site. 

Incumbent must be a current Pharmacy student in Pharmacy School to be considered. 

Students in pre-pharmacy will not be considered for this position. PharmD students only. 

Provides comprehensive non-judgmental functions related to medication management. Assists with all functions related to the practice of Pharmacy and clerical duties. Provides lawful, compassionate, efficient, safe, and cost effective use of medications. Collaborates with and supports all customers.

• Requires current Pharmacy Intern license (for the State of Indiana preferred)
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Requires knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws.
• Requires knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Requires knowledge of procedures for operating automated dispensing machines.
