As the Senior European Sales Manager, you will be a key member of our EMEAI commercial team, dedicated to supporting the European sales team, and driving the sales process. The primary responsibilities include guiding and supporting the acquisition of new distributors and projects in line with targets and regional account plans.  Focus will be on mapping the European regional markets with actionable insights, segmenting potential buyers and identifying areas of focus for product launches.  This person will be responsible for ensuring the European Sales Team achieve their sales targets. 

To succeed, you must possess previous people management experience within a commercial function across different cultures and preferably have experience in the graphics & signage industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity within a rapidly expanding company and a dynamic sales team.


Key Responsibilities:


Team Management - management of 8 Regional Sales Managers

  • Strategically & proactively oversee and drive the achievement of the sales team's monthly targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Translate regional objectives into actionable targets and KPIs for direct reports
  • Actively manage the individuals’ sales targets on a monthly basis to address who meeting targets, and implement actions as required.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and deliver weekly feedback on sales activities by tracking performance, interpreting data, and reporting progress against targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the underlying metrics and effective communication of insights across the business.
  • Provide consistent and detailed reports on sales activities to the Sales and Marketing Director, highlighting necessary actions and strategic recommendations.

Sales & Account Management 

  • Own and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners in assigned territories. 
  • Support team members in closing large opportunities and complex negotiations. 
  • Execute business plans aligned with the company’s sales strategy and market priorities. 

Market & Business Development 

  • Monitor regional market trends, competitor actions, and customer demands. 
  • Identify opportunities for growth in new applications (vehicle wrapping, signage, architectural graphics, etc.). 
  • Collaborate with marketing on regional campaigns, exhibitions, and lead-generation initiatives. 

Commercial & Operational Management 

  • Manage European sales pipeline in line with KPI quota (3-4 x sales pipeline coverage relative to quarterly revenue targets) 
  • Manage regional sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports. 
  • Ensure alignment with  company pricing strategies and profitability goals. 
  • Provide regular feedback to the Director of Sales and Marketing EMEAI on sales pipeline, challenges, and opportunities. 


Functional Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring efficient tracking, forecasting, and progression of opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.
  • Manage customer relationships by building and maintaining strong connections with regional distributors at the management level, ensuring the Sales and Marketing Director is involved as a point of escalation when necessary.
Requirements

 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ people management experience is essential. Demonstrated success in managing diverse teams and achieving sales targets is required. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the graphics & signage industry, with a strong understanding of the digital print media and modern printing methods (solvent, eco-solvent, latex, UV) is preferred. Additionally, experience from the OEM industry - printers, inks and accessories would be considered. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline is advantageous. 
  • Ability to track performance metrics and report on progress.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel. 
  •  Familiarity with CRM soft
