Additional requirement:

  • One (1) year of cashier experience.

 

 Preferences: 

  • One (1) year of FLAIR experience.
  • Two (2) years of accounting experience. An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university may be used as an alternative for the years of experience.

 

The salary range for this position is $33,759.96 - $67,446.96.
 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of methods of data collection
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge of FLAIR and FLAIR Reports.
  • Skill in typing or in the use of keyboard-controlled data input devices.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain a variety of accounting records.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to an accounting program.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to meet and maintain minimum production requirements for speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to post FLAIR transactions.


BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Analyze and Audit data provided from business areas prior to Updating Vendor Statewide with the necessary information.
  • Approve/Reject/Cancel all refund requests received from business area Refund Clerks in the Cashier’s Office Deposit Automation (CODA) internal subsystem.
  • Analyze, Reconcile, and Verify all refund warrants received and vouchers coincide prior to updating CODA and mailing warrant to customer.
  • Print, Analyze, Reconcile and Posts Risk Management deposits into FLAIR.
  • Analyze, Reconcile and ‘T’ over all Manual deposits in Treasury Daily.  This includes Wires, ACH, JT’s and Ecommerce related deposits, as needed.
  • Log and track Receipt Deposits, under research, in an excel database on I:/drive.
