Caregiver CNA HHA Home Care Assisting Hands Home Care – Jacksonville, FL

Assisting Hands  is hiring CNA and HHA caregivers to provide one-on-one, in-home care to clients throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas. If you are looking for steady work, flexible scheduling, and a supportive office team, we would love to speak with you.

What You Will Do
You will help clients remain safe and comfortable in their own homes by providing services such as:

• Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments or errands
• Companionship and conversation

Each client is different. We match caregivers based on skills, experience, and preferences whenever possible.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:

• Valid Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
• Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening
  (Florida Clearinghouse: https://info.flclearinghouse.com)
• Classroom CPR certification
• Florida-required training, including:
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias
  • Assisting With Self-Administration of Medication
• Reliable transportation to client locations
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, professional approach
• Ability to adapt to different clients and home environments
• Comfort with pets preferred but not required, since many clients have animals in their home

Work Life Balance

• Morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts available
• Part-time and full-time opportunities
• Minimum 4-hour shifts, with longer shifts available
• We work to align cases with your availability whenever possible
