Description:

The Project Manager shall support the planning, management, and execution of projects, applying expertise rooted in project management best practices. The contractor shall support projects with project planning and management, milestone status tracking and reviews, risk and issue identification, tracking and resolution. The contractor shall provide project management and administrative support for the hiring of 30,000 new employees each year as well as modernization projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support project-related meetings. This includes monitoring and tracking all meeting action items identified during formal and informal meetings with other government staff.
  • Develop professional Executive and Senior management-level presentations using Microsoft Office automation tools and techniques.
  • Develop project management artefacts using Microsoft Office automation tools and techniques. This includes developing and maintaining project schedules.
  • Host meetings as requested with other IT organization representatives to share and gather information.
  • Plan, coordinate, and organize events for assigned staff. Audience may include Executive and senior level Government staff and other PMO representatives.
  • Maintain and post all assigned electronic deliverables on a government-owned Share Point central repository site in accordance with all approved guidelines for record keeping and retention.
  • Communicate and interface with Government and other contractor staff to facilitate activities as assigned.
  • Properly monitor correspondence and action items to ensure all assigned suspense requirements are being met timely.
  • Develop laptop deployment plan for all New Hires individuals identified by the Business Operating Divisions.
  • Monitor and track all meeting action items identified during formal and informal meetings with other government staff.
  • Submit all presentations in either paper format, electronic format, or both as required within the prescribed time frame.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
