Description
Job Summary:
The Data Governance and Protection Engineer will drive improvements in the integration between Ataccama (Data Protection Tool) and Collibra (Data Governance Tool), focusing on Metadata discovery and data scanning at scale. This role requires thought leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration to build integrations, provide design influence, and ensure seamless data governance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in integrating Ataccama API workflows with Collibra for efficient, scalable metadata sourcing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure real-time integration between Ataccama and Collibra.
- Offer actionable feedback to product owners, architects, and development teams for the creation of cohesive, non-fragmented solutions.
- Lead deep dives into complex technical issues, identifying root causes and providing solutions.
- Standardize and improve data protection and governance processes to ensure smooth automation and operations.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in Data Management (DM) analysis, design, and development (10+ years).
- Expertise in SQL, Java/Eclipse, and Microservices (5+ years).
- Advanced knowledge of API integrations, particularly with Ataccama and Collibra.
