Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Lead - Pediatrics Cardiology

Inova Pediatric Cardiology Services is looking for a dedicated Pediatric  RN Outpatient Lead to join the team. .This role will be full-time, day shift Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. 

Work location: 8260 Willow oaks Corporate Drive #400, Fairfax VA 22031. Note: Candidates may require to travel to other offices when needed.

The Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse assists management in the development and implementation of strategic policies and procedures. Serves as a clinical expert and a team leader for all clinical staff in the Outpatient environment while communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others. Respects and understands other clinical disciplines while using an integrated approach toward achieving desired patient outcomes. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice. Serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor while demonstrating leadership skills in decision making and problem solving. 

Requirements 

Certification - Basic Life Support

Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Experience - 3 years of experience in Nursing. Preferred experience in pediatrics, PICU, Peds Cardiology

Education - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
