Senior Frontend Engineer II (Remote)

The Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate frontend engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the user interface of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ensure that our applications are user-friendly and visually appealing.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain the user interface of our web and mobile applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Work closely with product managers to understand the requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean and efficient code that is well-documented and easy to maintain.
• Ensure that the user interface is responsive and works across multiple devices and platforms.
• Conduct performance optimization and ensure that the application is scalable.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code meets the highest standards of quality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development.

 

What we’re looking for: 

• At least 3 years of experience in frontend development.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
• You have a bias towards action and experimentation.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• You communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• You are comfortable both deploying and maintaining code.

*Candidates will be required to be available for on-call rotation participation quarterly

Nice to have 

• Experience programming in Angular and/or Typescript and GraphQL
• Experience in developing for Windows and Mac applications using Electron
• Experience working in or with distributed teams
• Experience in testing with and learning from beta groups

In accordance with New York law, the salary range for this role if filled within New York is $175,000 - $200,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
