Join us in pioneering a dynamic initiative within ZF Aftermarket's purchasing department. Become an expert who is dedicated to purchase software for ZF Aftermarket Digital Solutions catering to specialized fleets such as Bus Connectivity, Light Vehicles, and Workshop Digitalization. The role involves close collaboration with the developers from Digital Solutions units, and as one of three experts, working to design an efficient purchasing process, while ensuring alignment with ZF's overarching guidelines.

What you can look forward to as Strategic Purchaser for Digital Solutions

• Collaboration in the development of the purchasing department strategy – we are establishing a new function in ZF Aftermarket 
• Preparation of purchasing guidelines and rules – you will help us to design our own purchasing process
• Proposition of solutions to streamline the purchasing process 
• Research and selection of suppliers of SW for our Digital Solutions, issuing purchase orders, monitoring their processing and expediting them when necessary
• Working closely with the internal SW developers to understand their needs
• Checking and approving purchase requisitions
• Resolving any complaints regarding purchase orders, and providing support to end users 
• Training of new department/team members based on experience gained as we are planning to grow

Your Profile 

• 5+ years of experience as a purchaser (IT, Research & Development or Engineering is a great asset)
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a technical study (e.g., Engineering, IT)
• Purchasing and sales skills, ability to negotiate with suppliers
• Genuine interest in modern IT and SW development technologies (SaaS, Cloud) and related toolings
• Advanced knowledge of purchasing software – we are using SAP
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office - Excel, Word
• Fluent English
• Analytical skills, flexibility
