Quality Manager - Production and Logistics

We're looking for an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and improve quality control processes at our manufacturing and logistics partners. Quality Team

The Quality Team is made up of specialists who work directly with factories and suppliers. They standardize processes and create professional documentation in order to develop and upgrade the quality system.

Everyday we monitor and analyze indexes of quality. Internally, every stage of furniture creation has customer satisfaction as a primary goal, which we monitor through direct collaboration with Customer Service. Additionally, the Quality Department is responsible forminimising poor quality costs.

The Quality Manager that we are seeking for will expand the scope of the responsibility of a quality team to a much more holistic one than it is today.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain quality standards for production and logistics, updating them as needed.

• Design and manage quality control procedures in production and logistics, auditing partners for compliance.

• Train and mentor staff on quality control techniques and foster a culture of quality consciousness.

• Collect and analyze quality data, make data-driven recommendations  and implement corrective actions.

• Collaborate with Production and Product teams to introduce new products, optimizing manufacturing, packaging, and delivery processes.

• Continuously improve production efficiency, scaling, and quality with manufacturing partners and innovative technologies to reduce costs while maintaining or improving standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as industrial engineering, quality management, or logistics. A master's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in quality management, particularly in production and logistics.

• Knowledge of the furniture production and materials used is a must.

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO standards.

• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is a plus.
