Social Service Director (Licensed Practitioner of The Healing Arts (LPHA)

Description

 RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Provide clinical supervision of the program 
2. Independently make clinical assessments of consumers 
3. Certify a psychiatric diagnosis 
4. Recommend treatment for consumers with a mental illness 
5. Recommend that medical or remedial services are necessary to reduce the physical or mental disability of a consumer and to restore a consumer to the maximum possible functioning level.  
6. Complete all continuous staff training as assigned on Relias Learning 
7. Other responsibilities and duties assigned by the Executive Director 

Requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS 

1. A physician; an advanced practice nurse with psychiatric specialty licensed under the Nurse Practice Act; a clinical psychologist licensed under the Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act; a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) licensed under the Clinical Social Work and Social Work Practice Act; a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) licensed under the Professional Counselor and Clinical Professional Counselor Licensing Act; or a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) licensed under the Marriage and Family Therapist Licensing Act and 68Ill.
