Position: Purchasing Specialist Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Job Type: Permanent / Onsite My client, a global manufacturing business are on the hunt for a dynamic and tenacious Purchasing Specialist to join their tightly knit team! Role and Responsibilities – Purchasing Specialist  In this role, you will look to manage and control the relationships with suppliers of raw materials, factored products and services. Other responsibilities include: Act as the primary customer contact for all production programme matters, providing clear updates, recovery plans, and communication of technical or commercial issues. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of programmes Lead regular customer reviews covering performance metrics, reliability trends, repair performance, and emerging in-service issues. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to manage in-service issues affecting the company’s equipment.
