Job Description

  • Creation and maintenance of project plans
  • Meeting project deliverable deadlines and milestones
  • Managing assigned projects to completion
  • Team communications
  • Identify and provide critical target dates to stakeholders
  • Tracking updates, action items, issues and other requests for Division leadership and managing related tasks to close-out.
  • Support and assistance with select external event planning
  • Developing internal communications projects and products such as SharePoint sites and content, presentations, and management initiatives
  • Prior experience working with government institutions or biopharmaceutical industry experience considered beneficial. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent beneficial, but not required.
  • A well-rounded, flexible and energetic individual is critical for this position.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing program schedules
  • Demonstrated experience providing advice to senior government officials.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with teams with a variety of backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with coordinating collaborations with other federal government agencies, industry, and international organizations.
  • Event planning/management experience strongly preferred

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s level, with a major in business administration, public administration, or public health. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience working with government institutions or biopharmaceutical industry experience considered beneficial.

Additional Information

This role requires up to 2 days a week in Washington. DC.
