Job Posting: Pediatric LPN/RN Caregiver Needed for 15-Year-Old Peds Client

Shift: Sunday's and Monday's 7a-7p

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized, one-on-one care for a 15-year-old pediatric client. This client requires assistance with various medical needs, including G-tube maintenance, feedings, medication administration, and more. The ideal candidate will be skilled, patient, and experienced in pediatric care, particularly with complex needs.

Responsibilities:

• G-Tube Care: Ensure proper maintenance of G-tube, monitor for complications, and assist with feeding.

• Ventilator and Trach Care: Manage ventilator settings, perform routine checks, and provide tracheostomy care.

• Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects or complications.

• Assist with Chest Percussion and Cough Assist: Use the chest percussion vest and cough assist to promote airway clearance and respiratory health.

• Monitoring and Support: Closely monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall well-being.

• Personal Care: Assist with daily care needs, including hygiene, comfort, and positioning as the client is non-ambulatory and non-verbal.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the family and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
  
   

  Qualifications:

• Current unencumbered LPN/RN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse in a supervised setting within the last three (3) years
• Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience including any specialty areas
• In compliance with state and Federal regulations
• CPR
• Valid AHCA/ level two background screening
• TB test showing a negative result
