Deli / Sales Assistant - Full Time

MAXOL Newport road Westport have an exciting opportunity available for Deli / Sales Assistants. We are a renowned grocery retailer and are looking for motivated, customer-focused and reliable Deli Assistants to join our team.

Previous deli or food service experience is desirable, however, candidates with other retail experience will also be considered.

We are looking for experienced Deli/ Sales Assistants for an immediate start, who have a strong work ethic, flexible approach and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer care at all times.

Responsibilities of this Deli Assistant job include:

• Food preparation and replenishing of food displays

• Ensuring Health and Safety are met

• Ensuring a high standard of customer service

The requirements for the Deli Assistant job include:

• Previous deli / fresh food/ butcher experience

• Excellent Customer Service skills are needed

• Ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment

• Manual Handling & HACCP certification – Training can be provided
