Software Development Engineer - Back End

Your Role and Responsibilities
You will work with your scrum team to deliver impactful and valuable features bi-weekly. You will personally own end-to-end features from concept to design to production, and partner with product managers, user experience designers, and other engineers to achieve high-quality solutions.

Technical stack of the project:

• Backend: Java, Dropwizard, Postgres, JooQ, Snowflake
• (Micro-)Frontend: React, Typescript, Piral Framework
• AWS: RDS, SNS, SQS, Secrets Manager
• Monitoring: Datadog, Splunk
• CI/CD: Github, Argo

  Please note, that we expect you to be at IBM Kraków office min. 2 times a week.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience working with web-based microservices in Java
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• REST and gRPC
• Public cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Devops background

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with:

• BigData (Flink, Spark) background
• Snowflake, Iceberg
• Distributed microservices
