Job Duties

1. Performance Management
• Provides leadership and management for district team
• Expectations are clear, well communicated and relate to the goals and
objectives
• Staff receives frequent, constructive feedback
2. Grant Management & Reporting
• Manages grant activities and funds for services that support the program
• Identifies gaps in services and seeks solutions to fill gaps through identification
of additional funds or implementation of new strategies using existing funds
3. Strategic & Financial Planning
• Participates in strategic planning process for the district and for individual
program
• Oversees finances of unit programs
4. Community & Client Services/Other Duties
• Engages in work to enhance community relationships and build capacity within
the district to improve services
• Actively engages team in achieving grant deliverables and strategic planning
outcomes
• Ensures that services and documentation meets policies and procedures
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned; may include functions in
support of an emergency declaration

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of public health and communicable disease control practices;
methodologies used to support the program
• Ability to manage grants and contracts
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently
• Knowledge and demonstration of effective leadership and management skills

• Bilingual preferred
