This position is for an intern who will be entering their sophomore or higher year by the start of summer 2026.

Job Summary:

Our Cyber team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Intern to support our classified computing environment in Tucson, AZ. As an intern, you will work closely with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure compliance with NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, and JSIG policies, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in cybersecurity and information systems security.

This role is available onsite at our Tucson, AZ location.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in ensuring system compliance and auditing within a classified environment.
  • Support the development of security plans and assist in delivering security awareness and education programs.
  • Help investigate information system security violations and contribute to creating reports for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the facility security team, program personnel, and government representatives.
  • Participate in security sustainment activities including hardware/software change management and account management.
  • Participate in organization project during internship.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must be at least a sophomore by the start of summer 2026 pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Computer Science or Math.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
