Canon Alliance Business Analyst<p></p><p><b>Description -</b></p><p><b><span>Job Summary</span></b></p><ul><li>This role is responsible for supporting and evolving the Canon Alliance business model for LaserJet products, with a focus on hardware funding, supplies programs, financial analysis, business case evaluation, and customer-level SBD program improvements.</li><li>The role acts as a key interface between HP and Canon for business planning topics, including funding discussions, supplies program communications, financial reviews, and future business model changes.</li><li>The role partners cross-functionally with internal teams such as GBU, CO, and TSS to drive analysis, manage program improvements, support decision-making, and ensure alignment with Canon-facing priorities.</li><li>The role requires strong knowledge of the LaserJet portfolio, Canon Alliance history, business model economics, and operational impacts across HP</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities</span></b></p><ul><li>Drive hardware funding and supplies discussions between HP and Canon, and coordinate internally with GBU, CO, and other stakeholders to support business planning decisions.</li><li>Partner with Toner supplies and Category Organization to drive supplies program processes where relevant.</li><li>Support business case evaluation for new business model opportunities.</li><li>Develop bottom-up financial analysis and review earning statements to support business decisions.</li><li>Provide quantitative analysis, currency analysis, and business case support to help the team understand how the business model impacts HP operations.</li><li>Support the evolution of Supplies programs from a deal-level model to a customer-level model to improve efficiency, visibility, and cartridge volume optimization.</li><li>Help simplify and improve processes by moving from manual toward more systematic program-level submissions.</li><li>Support quarterly reporting and partner visibility improvements iincluding the transition from prior HP OPG-based forecasting to prior-year actuals.</li><li>Work across functions to manage complex problems where business model, portfolio, financial, operational, and partner considerations need to be evaluated together.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Education &amp; Experience Recommended</span></b></p><ul><li>Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.</li><li>Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in strategic management, strategic planning and implementation, consulting, market research, or a related field.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Preferred Certifications</span></b></p><p>Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification</p><p></p><p><b><span>Knowledge &amp; Skills</span></b></p><ul><li>Canon Alliance business model knowledge.</li><li>LaserJet portfolio and product lifecycle knowledge.</li><li>Hardware funding and Supplies programs knowledge.</li><li>Excel in communication and negotiation.</li><li>Financial modeling and bottom-up analysis.</li><li>Business case development and evaluation.</li><li>Currency and quantitative analysis.</li><li>Forecasting and reporting.</li><li>Process improvement and governance.</li><li>Cross-functional project leadership.</li><li>Data analysis and business performance measurement.</li><li>Ability to simplify complex business problems into clear recommendations.</li><li>Strong communication with internal teams and external alliance partners.</li><li>Results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Cross-Org Skills</span></b></p><p>• Effective Communication</p><p>• Results Orientation</p><p>• Learning Agility</p><p>• Digital Fluency</p><p>• Customer Centricity</p><p></p><p><b><span>Impact &amp; Scope</span></b></p><p>Impacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Complexity</span></b></p><p>Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.</p><p></p><p><b>Pay &amp; Benefits</b></p><p></p><p>The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional</p><p>opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United</p><p>States of America candidates only).
