Job Responsibilities:

• Shipping/Receiving - coordinate picking, staging, loading/unloading trucks, including lifting, stacking, and unstacking product as needed (ensuring loads are secure)
• Equipment - ensure safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment (including conducting pre-op and post-op inspections are required).
• Scheduling - participate in establishing daily work schedule.
• Storage - maintain accuracy of stock locator system.
• Sanitation & Security - maintain a clean, secure, and safe workplace. 
• Safety – maintain a clean warehouse and report all unsafe practices and unsafe conditions to plant management.
• Records - complete all reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Inventory - Assist Production Manager in assignments and participate in physical inventories.

DECISION-MAKING/RECOMMENDATION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all product moved is verified.
• Schedule equipment for required maintenance.
• Ensure schedules are implemented and jobs are completed.
• Ensure forklift operators/pickers maintain F.I.F.O. procedures.
• Schedule clean up and inspections as required.
• Inform Maintenance/Sanitation/Quality and/or Operations if problems arise.
• Record accurate data for productivity, meetings, and warehouse procedures.

Skills and Abilities:

• Warehousing experience - minimum of 3 years
• Material handling equipment experience
• Leadership skills
• Computer skills
• Possess excellent organizational and communications skills.
• Possess excellent reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Be detail oriented.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range:

$15.00 - $25.00

Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
