Jefferson Outpatient Imaging is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Part-time position at our outpatient imaging center located in Collegeville, PA. The shift is every Monday 830am-5pm with the possibility to expand to additional days in the future. 

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the MRI Supervisor, Clinical Manager, or Clinical Director, the Registered Nurse:

• Is a highly-skilled clinician utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to patient care service delivery.
• Manages care at a highly-developed skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, & other members of the health care team.
• Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 year as an RN in a clinical setting
• Minimum 1 year ER experience preferred. 

EDUCATION:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire. ACLS certification may be required.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Ability to manage medical emergencies and contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
