Conducting timely repairs based on inspections and proactively addressing maintenance needs.

Attending and contributing to plant maintenance and safety meetings.

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and assist in electrical systems for plants and support facilities.

Use a full range of tools and equipment—from hand and power tools to hoists, cranes, welding and testing instruments.

Listen, observe, and troubleshoot equipment issues, collaborating with team members to find and implement solutions.

Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery, replacing defective parts and ensuring precise, reliable operation.

Clean, lubricate, and maintain plant machinery to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Perform skilled welding and fabrication to repair or enhance equipment.

Maintain inventory, order essential parts and supplies, and keep accurate maintenance records.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, operators, and customers—both in person and via radio/telephone.

Assist fellow maintenance staff and help drive overall plant efficiency.

Work with 480-volt electrical systems (computer batch panel experience a plus).

Proven experience with mechanical, electrical, and welding tools and procedures.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for quality work.

Physical capability to lift to 100 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently; able to work at heights and in varied conditions.

Valid driver’s license and flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and variable shifts as needed.

Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints; experience with computers and control panels a plus.
