About our group:
- Responsible for key services including capacity planning, capital budget planning and design of factory layouts, factory staffing and factory modelling.
- Design, develop, and apply engineering, mathematical models, simulation and optimization models to drive solutions to complex manufacturing problems.
- Supports and improves the performance of the Manufacturing operations
- Plays a critical role in the execution of Seagate’s Product and Technology Roadmap
About the role - you will:
- Be responsible for Industrial Engineering business processes and systems including capacity planning and factory performance for a subset of toolsets.
- Support and develop models intended to understand key inputs of factory performance and drive business decisions based on data.
- Identify areas of manufacturing efficiency improvement including optimizing capital efficiency and reducing manufacturing cycle time analytical and logical problem-solving ability.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to determine key business improvement opportunities and lead project teams for operational performance improvement
About you:
- Proven track record of results
- Successful experience in process improvement initiatives
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within agreed timelines
- Collaborates closely with colleagues and other business units to achieve tactical and strategic goals
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Your experience includes:
- Data analysis, reporting, workflow automation, visualization skills including Excel, SQL, Knime
- Demonstrated experience in using data to quickly highlight trends and draw accurate conclusions from the data
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills along with effective verbal and written communication skills
- Team and Project Management experience
- Seeking applicants with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science or another relevant discipline.
